COMMUNICATION TOOLS

• Edition of an “Exhibitors’ Brief” to explain the sorting rules to be applied at the event.
• Dissemination of the document in advance, to exhibitors and stand builders.
• Individual meeting with each service provider on assembly to inform and explain.
• Study and installation of specific skips to sort waste.
• No sending of flyers to promote the event (only mailings without attachments).
• No more plastic badges and badge holders, now DVR badges are printed on paper.

STANDS & ANIMATION SPACES

• Strengthening the environmental aspect in our choice of service providers: Materials used, signage, eco-design, waste management, reuse, and lifespan of stands, etc.
• The DVR video walls are made of wood (reuse), the visuals are not dated so that they can be reused from edition to edition.
• New storage/reuse policy: Special manufacturing of stands and furniture to be shared over several years
• The DVR stands were designed in steel in 2015, since then they have been stored, sanded before each edition so that they can be reused….
• The carpet, which is unfortunately essential to protect the premises (and in particular the floor of the Palais des Papes which is a protected place) has nevertheless been reduced since 2015 in the transit zones.
• The cold solution for our exhibitors since 2019 are bags of flexible gels that we collect to dry so that we can reuse them from one edition to the next.

CATERING & SNACKING

• Choice of committed service providers who adhere to our eco-responsible charter.
  
  >> Reduction of waste, sorting and recovery of surpluses,
  >> Use of ecocups and reusable tableware and/or using only cutlery and containers made from recyclable, compostable and biodegradable materials,
  >> Use of fresh, seasonal products from short supply chains,
  >> No distribution of flyers,
  >> Fight against food waste.
  
• Implementation of 3 sorting flows (DIB / paper-cardboard-plastic / Glasses),
• Elimination of plastic water bottles throughout the show.

TRANSPORT

• Raising awareness of soft modes of transport: awareness is raised among all exhibitors and visitors for the use of less impact modes of transport. Raising awareness of carpooling for exhibitors from the same AOC.
• Implementation of a free, no-cost carpooling solution for visitors and exhibitors at the show, in partnership with MOBICOOP, a free, commission-free and cooperative carpooling solution.

 AT THE END

• Recovery of lanyards and badge holders as well as the rest of the POS which will be used in the next edition.
• Recovery of PVC tarpaulins for reuse. Thanks to the partnership between Act Event & XXXXX, PVC tarpaulins are recovered and reused to be transformed into handbags and computer bags.
• Recovery of all pallets by our stand operator for reuse.
• Recycling of stand carpets by the company PACA Recyclage.
