TERROIR AND GRAPES
The Bourboulenc and Grenache Blanc are grown on the Fayardes plateau at an altitude of 160 meters, on limestone and slightly stony soils. The Vermentino du Vallat is grown on very sandy soils, characteristic of vines producing aromatic berries with great finesse thanks to a dominant proportion of sand.
The Grenache Blanc adds texture and sweetness to the ripe fruit notes, the Bourboulenc expresses the freshness and tonicity of citrus fruit, and the Vermentino offers finesse and floral notes.
ELABORATION
The grapes are harvested by hand and cooled in a cold room to preserve the aroma precursors and protect the grapes from oxidation. The following day, the grapes are destemmed and cold-pressed.
Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc and Vermentino are vinified together to achieve a harmonious balance. The wine is matured in stainless steel vats to preserve all the finesse of the fruit and a tonic palate.
After a light filtration to preserve all its tonicity, we bottle the wine in the spring, according to the lunar calendar, to offer you our Ventoux white wine with all its freshness.
To the eye
Golden colour with bright green tints.
To the nose
Expressive and elegant, the nose offers an aromatic bouquet of flowers (broom, cherry blossom) and white-fleshed fruit (pear, green apple). The finish is tangy, with notes of exotic fruit (pineapple) and herbs (fennel).
In the mouth
A fruity attack with notes of exotic fruit, pear, quince and tart lemon. It then opens up with subtle zesty notes and a fresh, saline finish. This well-balanced wine - with its invigorating and delicious flavours - is a great first taste experience.
